Relocating to Louisville? Welcome!

We’re a community hard to categorize–big city, small town, Midwestern, Southern, sports crazy, performing arts haven–and all of these descriptions are accurate.

Corporate citizens include Yum Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, & Taco Bell), Humana, Ford, Papa John’s, General Electric, and Brown-Forman. Proud natives are Muhammad Ali, Diane Sawyer, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Louisville offers hospitality, warmth, and smaller-city advantages like shorter commutes and a lower cost of living. We’re proud that Louisville has been named America’s “Most Livable” large city and one of the top “Foodiest Cities” in the world.

Our arts are fantastic with the Louisville Orchestra, Kentucky Opera, Louisville Ballet, Tony award winning Actors Theatre of Louisville, three public radio stations (Louisville Public Media), Stageone Family Theatre, and PNC Broadway in Louisville.

We are home to historic Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby as well as the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.

We claim Louisville as the capital of collegiate basketball with the University of Louisville (ACC) playing downtown in the KFC Yum Center.  Nearby University of Kentucky battles in the SEC, and Indiana University fans follow the Big 10.

Louisville also is a City of Parks with one of the nation’s largest parks expansions underway (The Parklands of Floyds Fork), adding 4,000 new acres of park land, and the 100-mile Louisville Loop trail encircling the entire community.

So, if you are considering a move here, welcome.  We think you will be very pleased with the quality of home and lifestyle your investment will provide.  In a short period of time, we believe you will be as happy to call Louisville “home” as we are.
