Two Professionals…26 Years of Experience
Vickie and David have a combined 26 years in the business with more than 350 transactions in last 15 years and are consistently in the top 3% of agents in the local MLS. We were the #2 team at Semonin Realtors for each year, 2007 through 2012, before joining KW Louisville East. At Keller Williams East, the Blanton’s achieved the highest closed volume for any individual/2 person team during January, February, and June 2015; June 2014; and April, July, and November 2013. We closed the most expensive unit for the office in January and August 2014 and again in November 2013.
However, we focus on personal attention on each transaction. We have worked with the complete range of buyers and sellers–relocation clients, first time home buyers, local residents who are moving up or downsizing, as well as purchasers of new construction.
While most of our transactions have been on the eastern side of Jefferson County and throughout Oldham County, we have closed homes in almost every zip code in the metro Louisville area as well as in Shelby, Spencer, and Bullitt Counties. Our price range for transactions has been from a low in the $40,000s to a high of $895,000.
In searching for an agent, consider the following:
Most of our business comes from either past clients or from referrals of past clients. However, to continue to grow, each year we welcome new buyers and sellers.
Most importantly, we know buying or selling a house usually occurs at a transitional time in peoples’ lives. Such change usually increases stress and anxiety. We work very hard to eliminate as much of your worry as possible. We do this by communicating frequently, answering any questions you may have, and guiding you through every step of the process.
Bottom line, no agent will work harder to protect your interests, both personal and professional. We will be direct, honest, and provide experienced professional advice.
How are we different from other agents?
First, you get two for the price of one! While you will primarily work with only one of us to ensure continuity, we will consult with each other throughout your sale process. This definitely occurs when you are negotiating an offer or a repair request. Simply stated, two heads are better than one in determining what offer, counter, or response best furthers your interests in the negotiating process.
Second, we will tell you what you need to hear, not what you necessarily want to hear. We will be professional but our advice and recommendations will be direct and honest. We will not hesitate to tell you what we think of any property, both the positive attributes as well as any possible negative considerations. We will comment on its location, condition, and price. We will tell you if we think an offer or counter amount you are considering is too high or too low. In negotiating an offer, we represent you and our goal is to maximize your financial investment, whether buying or selling, and with terms and conditions that fairly favor your interests.
